While the main focus will be on the Frostproof – Babson Park – Lake Wales area, sightings throughout Polk County will be included as well. If you wish to contribute a photo or photos, please send them to firstname.lastname@example.org along with where and when it was taken, and any other pertinent information. - Week of October 22: Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Black-and-white Warbler, Cooper’s Hawk, American Kestrels, Bald Eagles, Pied-billed Grebe (Crooked Lake), Eastern Phoebe, Hillcrest Heights by Gail French and Jacque Woodward. Palm Warblers, Pine Warblers, Loggerhead Shrike. American Kestrels in Babson Park, by Joanne Wilson.
- October 28th: Northern Harrier, Babson Park
- Week of November 4th: Belted Kingfisher, Baltimore Oriole, Eastern Phoebe; spotted in Hillcrest Heights by Gail French and Jacque Woodward. Norther Harrier, spotted twice in Babson Park by Joanne Wilson.
